Quick Guide
Which series is right for you?
Three clear tiers — each engineered for a different level of need and protocol depth.
Award-winning series — exceptional value as measured by light energy delivered per dollar invested. Four-wavelength design synergistically targets peak bioactive spectra.
Our best-selling, medical-grade series features a sleek touchscreen, brightness control, and six powerful wavelengths. TruDual™ chip tech lets you choose full-panel red or full-panel NIR. Addition of 590nm for skin and 810nm for deeper penetration.
Medical grade, patent-pending TruDual™ chip, quad lens array, eight-wavelength multi-circuit design provides eleven different possible modes. The most adaptable light therapy panel ever created.
Photobiomodulation research isn’t monolithic. Each wavelength has been studied for different outcomes, at different depths, with different evidence levels. Use the buttons below to see how the wavelength set has grown across our flagship panels — and what published research drove each addition.

WALT

Foundation. Tina Karu’s seminal photobiomodulation work established 630 nm and 830 nm as the twin absorption peaks of cytochrome c oxidase — the engine of PBM. MitoPRO+ pairs them with 660 nm and 850 nm for the four wavelengths that anchor the published evidence base.
Expansion. As transcranial PBM research (810 nm, brain & cognition) and vascular PBM studies (590 nm, circulation) reached clinical maturity, we added them. MitoPRO X covers six wavelengths spanning skin, joints, brain, circulation, and muscle.
Convergence. Wound-healing research (670 nm) and metabolic PBM studies (940 nm) closed the spectrum. Eight wavelengths on eight independent circuits — 11 selectable modes that fire any subset at full irradiance. The patent-pending TruDual™ chip is what makes this possible.
The published research referenced here studies photobiomodulation (PBM) as a therapeutic modality and the specific wavelengths shown above - not Mito Red Light devices specifically. The wavelengths in our panels were chosen because the peer-reviewed PBM literature supports them: this is where published evidence is deepest, where dosing parameters have been characterized in human studies, and where clinical guidelines (such as WALT) exist. Mito Red Light has not funded or conducted registered clinical trials on the specific devices discussed here, and the study counts reflect the broader PBM research base — not studies of our products.
Evidence levels follow GRADE methodology. Study counts reflect indexed research on the Mito Red Light Research & Evidence Hub, sourced from PubMed and PubMed Central. PBM response varies by person, tissue, condition, dose, and session timing; outcomes reported in the literature may not be replicable for every user. These devices are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a medical condition or are under a physician's care, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
* Panel dimensions only. If using a floor or universal stand, add approximately 6–8" to the stated height.
Why two irradiance figures? Consumer meters read the full spectrum and report higher numbers. Professional spectroradiometers isolate the specific therapeutic wavelengths actually emitted. Both are listed so you can compare against any competitor using either standard. Independent Third-Party Testing Data →
