MitoPOD™ | Portable & Convenient Full Body Red Light Therapy

The Mito Pod I just what I needed. I'm sorry I waited so long to get it. Jump in and not only heal but relax. I don't think I've used it yet where I didn't fall asleep.

It's a little cumbersome to deal with the zipper when getting in or out but I found how to make it work for me. The complaints about the controls are an easy fix... I used a super large binder clip and hooked that within reach. Just make sure you aren't pinching wires, mine are very loose in there.

I've had my MitoPOD for several weeks now and the neoprene is still off gassing with an almost noxious chemical smell. It's better now than when I first opened the box, so I'm hoping it will continue to improve.

I haven't worked up to a full 10 or more minutes per session, but 8 to 9 minutes twice daily with at least 6 hours between sessions is wonderful. My body aches and pains are improved and I recover more quickly between workouts. I feel a deep warmth in my muscles after using which is soothing and I am sleeping better.

I have a MitoPro panel too for my face and neck, but I really like the MitoPOD for the whole body treatment and the ability to lie down and relax. The surface is cool upon entering, but it warms up quickly.

Do not order if you suffer from claustrophobia. It is very warm inside the POD. Not great if one has hot-flashes. I use 2 small personal size fans inside the pod, to keep air circulating. The early chemical smell faded after a few uses. We found the pod inconvenient to use, especially with the need for a shower first. Have decided to keep it, just in case we might need it later if one of us has a surgery or injury. We are researching personal use flexible arch type. That would be more convenient to use. And YES. The controls at the bottom are difficult with a bad back. (If you ever change that in a new model, perhaps you could give a generous trade-in.) I'm very short, and I still cannot include both my face and my feet inside the POD at the same time. Bummer.
