I got a massage table on Temu and splurged on the larger MitoRed panel and the base to set it up horizontally. I couldn't be happier with this set up. I was worried before setting it up because the panel is heavy and the stand only holds onto it by 4 screws but it's very sturdy. As I feared, my cat has hopped up on top of it. It was fine.
PSA: be more careful than I was about bed choice because mine has a bar on the bottom that is in the way of the stand's roller base. I'd like to be able to move my light about 2" more towards the head but I can't because of the bed I chose. Which is not a problem with anything that came from MitoRed, it's my own error in judgement.
People pay $30 per 15 minute session to get in a red light therapy booth at a local wellness place near my house and that booth isn't even nearly as good as my panel. It's POWERFUL. I've only had it for maybe 3 weeks and between my boyfriend and I the number of treatments we've done would be over a thousand dollars at that place. I would never have done that but just putting the expense in perspective.
