The Mito Red Universal Stand can be set in either a vertical position or a horizontal position. 

Please Note:  In order to switch positions, the light panels need to be removed and the stand reconfigured. The stand will not change positions when the lights are installed.

Compatibility Summary:

MitoPRO+, MitoPRO X, and MitoADAPT 4.0 configurations are compatible with vertical or horizontal positions with the exception of the MitoPRO 750+, MitoPRO 300+, MitoPRO 750X and MitoPRO 300X. MitoADAPT MIN 4.0, and MitoADAPT MID 4.0 which are NOT compatible on its own. The Mito Red Original 2.0 series is not stand compatible. 

XL Panels:

MitoPRO MEGA X is compatible with horizontal or vertical.

Hardware & Configuration Policy (Horizontal Use)
For safety and stability reasons, Mito Red Light does not support, recommend, or supply mounting hardware for horizontal Universal Stand configurations that exceed the listed recommendations.

This includes any 4-panel horizontal setup, regardless of total panel weight. Due to off-center loading and increased leverage forces in the horizontal orientation, additional brackets or hardware will not be provided, and such configurations are considered unsupported use of the Universal Stand.

The Universal Stand has different weight limits depending on orientation:

  • Vertical setup: up to 100 lbs
  • Horizontal setup: up to 65 lbs

Because of these limits, not all panel combinations are recommended in every configuration.

Recommended horizontal configurations (max 65 lbs)

The largest setups we recommend in the horizontal position are:

  • 2× MitoPRO 1500+
  • MitoPRO 750X + MitoPRO 1500X
  • MitoPRO MegaX
  • MitoADAPT MID 4.0 + MitoADAPT MAX 4.0
  • 2× MitoADAPT MAX 4.0

Vertical configurations (up to 100 lbs)

The vertical orientation supports heavier setups. Notably:

  • 4× MitoPRO 1500+ is supported on the vertical stand
  • 2x MitoPRO 750X and 1500X
  • 2x MitoADAPT MID 4.0 and MAX 4.0

If you’re looking for the largest total coverage area that is safely supported on the Universal Stand:

  • 4× MitoPRO 1500+ (vertical configuration)

    Coverage area: approximately 6 feet × 2 feet

This setup provides the maximum surface area while staying within the stand’s weight and stability limits.

    Legit!

    This stand is the real-deal. It looks like something from the med lab on Star Trek! We assembled it in less than 15 minutes (lots of screws to insert). And it is solid!

    Horizontal stand

    I love this stand! I had to wait because it was back ordered, but it was worth the wait. I put this together by myself(female) and had no issues. Instructions were very clear. I was worried because of other reviews, but it was really easy to put together. I really enjoy being able to lay down and relax while using the red light.

    Need Better instructions.

    First of all, there's nothing wrong with the stand great stand very solid and very happy with it. However, what needs improvement is the instructions for the assembly. Thank goodness they were good pictures on the website that I was able to piece it together, but I suggest you have a QR code on the instructions out of the box and it brings you straight. A video assembly and step-by-step.

    This stand works great

    I use it with my MitoRed Mega X and it works perfectly. I find I look forward to the session in the morning when I know I can relax laying down during the session. I hioghly recommend this stand.

    Sturdy but not terribly functional

    Firstly, the instructions to assemble are terribly written. Secondly, the height adjustment is not well thought out and is very difficult. They used two little press buttons that require you to simultaneously lift the light while pressing two separate buttons at the same time. Meaning you need 4 hands in order make a height adjustment. They use universal rails so if you have the smaller panel the rails stick out beyond the panel which looks terrible. And finally, the panel is stuck at either horizontal or vertical, you cannot change the plane you have it installed without full disassembly. Would not recommend this stand. It is sturdy, it does roll well.

    Too large of a base

    We realize the base size is to stabilize the panel however it’s too large for home use in a smaller home. I also assumed we could use the panel horizontally and then store or move it in the vertical position. Right now it sits at the base of our bed and overpowers our bedroom. Not so happy with that.

    Not universal stand

    Unfortunately, the panels I purchased don't fit my stand, It's been disappointing trying to get everything to work together. I wish they would explain this on the website and also make stands for the previously sold products.
