What wavelengths does the MitoADAPT 4.0 use?

The MitoADAPT 4.0 uses eight wavelengths: 590nm (amber), 630nm, 660nm, 670nm (red), 810nm, 830nm, 850nm, and 940nm (near-infrared).

Key additions over the MitoPRO+ and MitoPRO X: 670nm — the leading wavelength in current eye, brain, and mitochondrial photobiomodulation research; 940nm — the deepest-penetrating wavelength in the therapeutic NIR window, studied for bone, deep muscle, and systemic applications.

What is TruDUAL™ Chip Technology and why does it matter?

Each LED lens in the MitoADAPT 4.0 contains multiple chips on independent circuits. This allows the panel to activate specific wavelength combinations independently — not just "all on" or "all off". This is what makes the 11 modes possible. Without this architecture, a multi-wavelength panel would simply run all wavelengths simultaneously at reduced intensity, which is less effective and less flexible than targeted mode-based delivery.

How is the MitoADAPT 4.0 different from the MitoPRO+ and MitoPRO X?

How do I use the MitoADAPT 4.0 app?

Enable Bluetooth on both the panel and your device, then connect via the Mito Red Light app (iOS and Android). The app allows you to select modes, set session timers, track session history by mode, provide subjective feedback, and compare results over time to find what works best for your goals.

How far should I stand and how long per session?

Stand 6–12 inches from the panel. Sessions are typically 10 minutes per treatment area. Daily use is safe. Most users see meaningful results within 4–8 weeks of consistent use at 4–7 sessions per week. For new users, start with Mode 1 (Full Spectrum) and cycle through Modes 1–6 as you gather feedback and experience with different combinations.

What certifications does the MitoADAPT 4.0 have?

Great panel, great customer service
I have had a great experience with my MitoADAPT panel. It consistently helps me feel better after using it, and it has been especially nice during the winter.
One of the main reasons we chose the MitoADAPT was because it offered the most frequency options, along with the ability to create a longer and wider setup by combining two panels. That flexibility really stood out to us compared with other options we looked at.
I also appreciate the testing MitoRed does and the effort they put into product quality and transparency.
There was also a website glitch involving an affiliated company (MitoSolis) that allowed me to place an order I should not have been able to place. That led to some confusion around the order and refund process, but once I reached out to MitoRed, their team was very responsive and helpful.
What really stood out to me was that Scott, the founder/CEO, personally stepped in to help resolve everything. He stayed involved, offered multiple refund options, and made sure the issue was fully taken care of.
Overall, I’m very happy with the MitoADAPT and would absolutely purchase from MitoRed or any affiliated companies again.

Love this light,
I purchased the 12 x 36 Red and Infrared panel a few years ago. I did not really notice much, but I kept using it sporadically, because others around me were having good results. I decided to upgrade to the Mito Adapt panel during Christmas 2025. The first thing I noticed was that my migraines seemed to better or almost gone. A lifelong almost daily problem. The next thing was partial recovery of my loss of smell from Covid two years ago. I also have had a chronic problem with numbness in my upper left thigh. I believe from a pinched nerve in my hip. All of a sudden I started getting these shooting pains in that area. I think the Red Light is trying to heal the nerve. Overall I am extremely happy with the panel. I think the App is a little buggy, but that is minor. You can also use the controls on the side of the panel. 😁

Well Made - Heavy Duty - Much Appreciated
